Lieutenant Colonel Warren C.M. Griggs II

Lieutenant Colonel Griggs is a third generation career soldier who followed both his father and grandfather in joining the US Army.  He is a 1980 graduate of Hopkinsville High School, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and a 1986 graduate of Western Kentucky University, with a BA in Radio Broadcasting.   He earned a Masters of Defense Studies from University of Canberra, Canberra, Australia, in 2000.  

His duty assignments include Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Quantico, Virginia; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Queenscliff, Australia; Heidelberg, Germany; and Washington University.  He has

operational deployments to Saudi Arabia and Iraq for DESERT STORM and Kuwait for Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

He has served at all levels of duty positions within the Army; Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Infantry Battalion Signal Officer, Special Operations Aviation Task Force Signal Officer, Battalion S3 and XO. 

He is a graduate of Airborne school, Air Assault School, Jumpmaster School, and SERE and Advanced SERE schools.  He is also a graduate of the Army’s Signal Officer Basic Course, Marine Corps’ Command and Control Systems Course, and the Australian Army’s Command and General Staff College.

He and his wife, Adrianne, have been married for 20 years and have two daughters – Sarah and Ally.
